Look carefully at 6:14 into the video. What is that ring inside the steerer tube? is that manufactured or could it be fretting caused by the too-short steerer plug?? Is that fork about to fail?? Why does the mechanic ignore it??

Beware of those Pirelli P zero tires. Recently crashed with a front sidewall blowout at 90 psi.at 30 mph. I’m going back to Continental GP. after my wounds heal and fractured ribs mend. Don’t risk high pressure on the Italian tires.
